Mr. Johnnie C. "J.R." Jackson, Jr., age 59, entered into rest on February 19, 2018 at his residence. J.R. is preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie C. and Mollie J. Jackson, Sr.; sisters, Nancy Rutland; Mollie Jane Jackson and Romona Glisson. Survivor are wife, Cynthia Jackson, Augusta; Son, Johnnie C. Jackson, III, Baxley, GA; step children, Michele Poston, Augusta; Rebecca C. (Jonathon) Sebold, Hephzibah; Steven (Erin) Poston, Grovetown; sisters, Audrey (Tim) Varney, Graniteville, SC; Lela (Russell) Jones, Aiken, SC; step brother, Raymond Groomes, N. Augusta, SC; aunt, Myrtis White, Langley, SC; uncle Randy Jackson, Langley, SC; neice, Joy Groomes, Clearwater, SC; nephews, Ashley Groomes, Clearwater, SC; Robbie (Kim) Rutland, Aiken, SC; six grandchildren; one great grandchild and several other neices and nephews.
Graveside Service will be Friday, February 23, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 1050 Pine Grove Rd., Bath, SC. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 10 Glenlake Parkway SE South Tower Suite 400, Atlanta, GA 30328 or to the National Kidney Foundation, 270 Peachtree Street Suite 1040, Atlanta, GA 30303 in memory of Johnnie "J.R." Jackson.

We are so very sad to lose our love one Jr. As we call him. He was always a very likeable step brother and always loved. Ma y the LORD Jesus Christ be with all of you. Due to husband I will not be able to attend, but one day will see you in heaven.Even tho we have been separated these past years ,you are so loved and didn't know you were sick.
