Martha Hall Metcalf

April 24, 1939 - October 12, 2018

Martha Hall Metcalf, 79, of Evans, Georgia passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, October 12, 2018.  A native of Ligon, KY however spent most of her life in Hendersonville, NC.  She was the daughter of the late Tramble and June Slone.  She was preceded in death by brothers, Freddy and Buddy Slone and a sister, Shirley Slone.

She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend; spending her life fulfilling all those roles.  She never smiled more than when she was with her family.  Martha enjoyed nurturing and caring for others and making each person around her feel special.  She will be missed by many.

Martha is survived by her children Cathey (Mike) Rhodes and Doug (Velvet) Hall, her grandchildren, Ricky (Ashley) Davis, Jessica (Jeremy) Lusk, Hope Davis, Ashley Gaylord, Adrian (Kayla) Hall, Briana (Joseph) Stahr, Allie (Cedric) Anderson, her siblings, Teddy (Rosie) Slone, Joan (Ken) Hahn and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A limb has fallen from the family tree that says do not grieve for me.  Remember the good life I lived while I was strong.  Remember the best times, the laughter, the songs.  Remember the love, remember the hugs.  Think of me, in memories you can always find me.”
