Shannon Clayborn McCauley
April 10, 1978 - February 10, 2019
Shannon Clayborn McCauley, age 40, of Lincolnton entered into rest on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Doctors Hospital in Augusta with her loving family by her side. She is preceded in death by her Grandmother, Lillian Davis. Shannon is survived by her husband, Bryan McCauley, Lincolnton; daughters, Aireal and Whitney McCauley, Lincolnton; parents, Steven and Susan Clayborn, Grovetown; brother, Shawn (Julie) Clayborn, Grovetown; nieces, Samantha and Allie Clayborn, Grovetown; father and mother in law, Billy and Debra McCauley, Harlem.
Shannon attended Harlem High School was a graduate of Brenau University and was employed in the Contract Division at Ft. Gordon.
Celebration of Life service will be on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Faith Community Church, 1477 Leathersville Rd., Lincolnton, GA 30817. Pastor John Belangia, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The family request that in lieu of flowers contributions to Faith Community Church.

Susan, I just found out about Shannon today, I am heartbroken and so very sorry. When I talked to you last I didn't realize at that time she was at that time that sick. I sure wish I had known.If you need anything Please let me know as I can't imagine what you and Steve are going through. Shannon was my heart because I gave mine to her. Her soul touched my soul and that brought out the best in me. I’m gonna miss my best friend and lover. She was my hero, and I was hers. What a wonderful lady. One of the great joys of working here at the Cyber Center of Excellence was having the opportunity to meet and work with Shannon.
