Kirk Carlton Hardy
December 7, 1956 - February 8, 2019
Kirk Carlton Hardy, 62, died February 8, 2019 at his home, following a brief illness, with his loving family by his side.
A lifelong resident of Augusta, Kirk was born to Lamar and Athalee Hardy on December 7, 1956. He was employed by E-Z-GO for 34 years, and even enjoyed working on golf carts in his spare time. Always mechanically minded, he loved tinkering with electronic equipment – especially fixing things people thought were broken. And on weekend afternoons, you would almost always find him riding his motorcycle with Ginger, his wife of 38 years.
Kirk was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by Ginger; stepsons Jeremy (Kristie) and Justin (Tricia); grandchildren Alisha (Steven), Madeline, Andrew, and Sophia; great-grandchildren Anna and Paige; brothers Henry and Lamar “Bubba” (Pat); and sisters Karen (Tim) and Marlee.
The family will have a Celebration of Life to remember Kirk on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at 1621 Winter Street, Augusta. In lieu of flowers, they’re requesting donations to the American Cancer Society.

I didn’t have the privilege to know Kirk personally but only through Gingers loving words about him while we were working together. From what I know Ginger he will be wrapped around you and holding you tight everyday continuing to warm you with his forever love. We should all be so lucky as to love someone and be loved like you and Kirk have. Love and prayers to his entire family from my entire family.Cheri McIntosh - February 14 at 8:44 PM
