Peyton Marsh

July 31, 1987 - April 28, 2019

Our beloved Peyton Marsh entered into rest on April 28th, 2019. Peyton was an Augusta, GA native, having graduated from Lakeside High School in 2005. He went on to graduate from the University of Georgia in 2010. Peyton was a friend to all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed by his large family and numerous friends.

Peyton is survived by his two parents Diane and Fred Marsh; his brother Cody Marsh and sister-in-law Anna Marsh; his two beautiful nieces Reesa and Raelyn; his girlfriend Alissa and her two children, Zach and Lilly. Peyton is also survived by countless Aunts, Uncles, and cousins who loved him and will miss him deeply.

Peyton always had a smile on his face and lit up every room that he walked in. He had a way to make every one laugh and he could tear up the dance floor. He loved basketball, the beach, jammin’ with his friends, and spending time with his family. All who knew Peyton could appreciate his charming and inquisitive personality and his deep love for food.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 4, 2019 at 10:00 am at Stevens Creek Church, 600 Stevens Creek Road, Augusta, GA 30907. Family will receive visitors at the church, immediately after the service.

In Lieu of Flowers or gifts we respectfully request donations in our precious son’s name to:

Our thoughts & prayers are with Fred, Diane and family. We had a nice short visit with him at a basketball game a few weeks ago. He came over to Marge & I in the gym at halftime, introduced himself and was so happy to see us. We had not seen him in quite a few years. We will be away this weekend so will be unable to be with you. God Bless the whole Marsh/Gossage family.

I knew Peyton through the BOH a couple of years ago. He knew my sons and was very well acquainted with them. I often would come to the Bridhes and cut his hair. After he left the Bridges. he continued to come visit me at my shop and I would cut his hair and we would have our talks. He was full of life and Hope's and dreams. He always had a bright smile and we could always find laughter in our conversation. We also would exchange recipes as he would tell me of his love to cook. I was intrigued by his many talents. Fly high with the Angel's. sweetheart. I'm already missing you. God bless your sweet soul. Mrs. Sandra

I went to BOH with Peyton back in 2015, I was heartbroken when I heard the news. I will celebrate his memory deeply. I wish I could be at the funeral but unfortunately I live out of state now. Prayers and love

What a beautiful and well written tribute to Peyton. I only met Peyton a few times but he was always so sweet and kind hearted. My heart goes out to Diane, Fred, Cody and the rest of this very close family. Prayers to all aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. What a large and beautiful family you have. There are no words to express the sorrow I feel for you. I love you guys and pray for healing.

I regret I will not be able to attend Peyton's home coming as I have a cousin getting married in Charleston over the weekend. Though I wish I could be there in person however, I want Peyton and the Marsh's to know my heart and thoughts will be with them. I was a shy kid who did not make friends easily but when I met Peyton at YMCA summer camp our mutual love of basketball, wrasslin' and rap music instantly bonded us. He was one of my first best friends. We get older and life takes us down separate paths but whenever those paths would cross it was like no time had passed at all. He'd always greet me with a hug and a smile and want to know all about what I had going on. He was always genuine, that's not something easily found now a days. I will miss him, but I am comforted in knowing that I will see him again and you better believe he'll have "Return of the Mack" blasting when I get there. I'll be donating in his name to BoH Love you brother (*Hulk Hogan Voice*),

I had the pleasure of finally meeting Payton a little over a month ago after years of hearing about him. There was no denying his charm and how awesome of a personality he had. Sending my love and prayers from Iowa God bless and wrap his arms around alissa and all his friends and family. I'll be thinking if you all.

Fred and Diane, no one knows the pain felt from losing a child unless they have. God has plans we may never understand but they are his plans. We have to believe his plans are the best for our loved ones. You are loved by Christ and many many Friends and family. God Bless Paul Looper
Paul Looper - May 1 at 12:05 PM

I will always remember family holiday gatherings at our house. Peyton would be the first person at the house wondering what was already cooked and ready to sample. He enjoyed family get togethers so much. He will be missed so much at the future get togethers.
