Karen Lucille Jones nee Hart, age 64, of Augusta entered into rest on August 3, 2019.  She is preceded in death by her mother Doris Elizabeth Hart; and sister Kimberly Beth Hart. 

She leaves behind her dad Jack Mattox; husband James E. Jones; 3 sons, Adren Kenric Hart-Riley, Javan Jason Edwards, James Izaah Jones; 1 daughter Jatarrah Beth Jones; siblings Eugene Anthony Hart, Christopher Dwayne Mattox,  Jeffrey Lawrence Hart, and Priscilla Walden; grandchildren Alexxus Tyanna Garvey and Natalia Milan Edwards; sister-in-law Josie Friday; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Karen was born and bred in Coney Island, New York.  She was the embodiment of life; full of laughter and love! She was able to connect with anyone with a joke and a smile.  She was a selfless mother and a devoted wife, friend, sister, aunt, and grandmother. A creative, resilient spirit who made wonders out of little, she was a wise woman who always had sage advice to offer, and will forever be greatly missed.

Hello may God be the Glory..my name is Russell Griffin a long time friend of the family and Adren Godfather. Yes karen had that infectious Hart big smile..we go back over 50 years. Just seeing her picture just puts a smile on my face. May my sister sleep in peace. And my deepest condolences to the Maddox ,Hart and Jones family.
