Fred was healed in his earthly body on August 20, 2019 at Augusta University Medical Center. He left this world surrounded by angels.

Fred enjoyed reading and listening to NPR. He loved cooking for his family and friends. In the last couple of months he loved going fishing. Fred found great peace and comfort at Brick Pond Park in North Augusta. 

Fred was a chef for most of his life. His mother instilled in him the great love of cooking. The last few years of his life he worked for Satterfield Construction out of Greenwood, SC as a Traffic Control Supervisor.

He is preceded in death by his father, Rodger Reybold, and his mother, Dorothy Humphrey, and his two loyal fur babies, Rocky and Princess Sugar Booger. 

Left to cherish his memories are wife of 11 years and favorite fishing partner, Sonya M. Reybold. Fred’s “best girl” and mother-in-law, Lorene M. Karter. Fred’s children and step-children, Danielle Jones of Daytona Beach, Nicholle Reybold of Ocala, FL, Anna Karter of Saluda, Rev. Christopher (Samantha) Karter of Harmony, NC,  grandchildren and step-grandchildren,  Serenaty Mae Nicole Jones, Monica Taylor Reybold, and Emmalynn Starr Baker, all of Florida, Xsavier George Grant, Zane Tiberius Grant, both of Florida, Anthony  “Tony” Blue, Ethan Trace Blue, both of Saluda, and Sawyer James Karter of Harmony, NC; brother, James (Lindy) Gomillion, Largo, FL; brother in law, Buddy Reid, Rock Hill, SC; sister in law, Sueann (Bryson) Shealy, Springfield, SC.   He is also survived by his nephew and great nephew, Robert and Jonathan Bonnett, both of Beach Island, and one fur baby, Ginger Snap.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Brick Pond Park on the dock.  In the event of inclement weather the Memorial Service will be held at the Belevedere Church of God.   A memorial luncheon will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Belvedere Church of God at 137 Elizabeth Avenue, North Augusta, SC 29841.

So sorry for yalls loss i worked with Fred at Drew Exposition for many years i remember when he started he was a great person

I send my condolence to his wife Sonja Reybold........having known Fred....when I knew him he called himself Ted---but I wish her the best in the future!! My memories are many and over 30 years ago........he was a great chef--he could make a meal out of anything....his daughtershave that skill as well!! Now he is an angel flying high above his family --- he is their guardian angel!! Fly high my friend.......God bless you Sonja

I never went home from a visit with Frrd and Sonya without some kind of "take it home with you meal". His last text to me was dont be a stranger, kiddo. I will miss him. Hugs to all.
