Barry Kinsey

July 22, 1956 - August 26, 2019

Entered into rest August 26, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital of Augusta, Mr. Barry Sylvester Kinsey, 63. 

Mr. Kinsey was a native of Augusta, GA and was retired from the landscaping industry.  He was a member of Victory Baptist Church in North Augusta, SC. 

Survivors include his son Jason Kinsey and his wife Chasity Kinsey of Yulee, FL; daughter Olivia McKerley and her husband Kevin McKerley of Grovetown, GA; stepdaughter Kim Henson; stepson Joe Henson; grandson Ezekiel Kinsey; granddaughters Ellie McKerley, Lucy McKerley, and Willow Kinsey; brothers Joseph Wallace Cooler of Austell, GA and Charles Gary Kinsey of Panama City Florida; sisters Debbie L Kinsey of Martinez, GA and Sarah Kinsey Johnson of Washington, GA; and nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his late wife Bettye Heil Kinsey, his brother the late Holland Kinsey, Jr., and his mother and father the late Mr. and Mrs. Holland Kinsey, Sr.

A memorial service will be held at 6pm Friday, August 30, 2019 at The Sanctuary of Augusta located at 4584 Cox Rd., Evans, GA, 30809, with Pastor Bryan Cockrell officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Prodigal Ministries, PO Box 84, Evans, GA 30809.

I was so sorry to hear about Barry passing. I had visited him in the hospital and at Select. We had some good laughs and great talks about the dog. I will miss his sense of humor but his wife will get to enjoy it again. He is in Heaven telling them how to renovate the property there.
