Charles Lawrence Fletcher, Sr.
December 28, 1945 - November 19, 2019
Harlem, GA- Charles Fletcher, Sr. entered into rest November 19, 2019 at the age of 73. He was born in O’Brien, FL on December 28, 1945 to the late Carlos Orlando Fletcher and Lois Hall Fletcher.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Judy Powell Fletcher, one son Charles Lawrence Fletcher, Jr. (Mary) of Indiana, and daughter Catherine Fletcher Brown (Jim) of Norwood, GA, along with three grandchildren Elijah, Noah, and Elizabeth Brown.
He was preceded in death by his infant sister Linda, and brothers Orlan Fletcher of Florida, William Fletcher of Augusta, Irvin Fletcher of Hephzibah, along with nieces and nephews.
Charles was a retired United States Army Sergeant, he loved and served his country well. He was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church in Martinez where he served as Deacon, was on the Baptismal Committee, and a member of the choir.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Baptist Church, 4594 Columbia Rd., Martinez, GA with Pastor Matt Moore officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
