Lois Ann Clark
June 30, 1950 - December 29, 2019
Lois Ann Clark was born on June 30th, 1950 in Chestertown, MD. She entered into her final rest in Wagener, South Carolina with her family at her side at the age of 69. She had a great love for travel, nature, and the written word, all of which she instilled in her children and grandchildren. Professionally, she was an expert woodworker, her work having taken her everywhere from Florida to Alaska. She possessed a beautiful creative talent and a deep passion for writing. She was always a source of comfort and optimism for her children and grandchildren and it was often said the most peaceful place was wherever she was. Lois, never one for idle hands, was known for nurturing all things great and small as well as coaxing even the most stubborn places into serene gardens under her care. She firmly believed that happiness is a choice one makes in their heart and she spread her love and joy to all she touched. She is survived by her mother Doris Ivins of Twin City, GA, daughter Amy (Ferris) Randolph, son Michael Clark, granddaughters Danielle Smith and Whitney Varnadoe, one great grandson, two sisters and three brothers. A Celebration of Life service is to be held in late March in Twin City, GA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
