Rose Helen Harrell
September 16, 1932 - June 3, 2020
Mrs. Rose Bryan Harrell, age 87, of Appling, Georgia entered into rest on Wednesday, June 3, 2020. Rose was loved by her family and friends and will be missed by many. She was born and raised in Lucedale, Mississippi, where her family referred to her as “Baby Rose”. She later attended University of Southern Mississippi where she completed nursing school.
While working as a nurse at Forest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, she met Clem Williard Harrell, whom she would later marry on July 11, 1953. Together, they were stationed in Fort Smith, Arkansas; Munich, Germany and Atlanta, Georgia. During this time, they had David and Daniel. She was a loving mother who went on to become a loving Mammaw to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time in her yard, on the golf course and with her family.
Rose is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Linnie Bryan and her three older siblings, Francis, Spencer and Jackie; her husband, Clem Williard Harrell. She is survived by her two sons David and Daniel Harrell; grandchildren Sean and Jennifer Tooley, Debbie Harrell, Danny and Chante Harrell, and Krystie Harrell; 8 great-grandchildren, Caelin, Kaylee, Lillian, Conner, Luke, Caroline, Nathaniel and Braydon.
Funeral services will be held at graveside Monday, June 8, 2020 at 4:00pm at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Chapel, 2617 Vinson Hwy., Milledgeville, GA. 31061.

My Mom, Margie Corley, loved Miss Rose and her whole family. I am so saddened to hear of her passing. It is never easy losing a Mama so I know how hard this is for you all.
