Robert was a piece of my life for such a short time. I remember his smile and his laugh. He was always the spare “guy” when the cousins came to visit. I cherish the times I spent with him. He will be missed. God’s hands opened up and took him to his eternal rest. Everyone who knew Robert is a better person because of him.

I was the youngest of the older brothers David, Joe and Myself , John . so I got to baby sit the 3 younger ones Edwin, Jimmy, and Robert. I remember Robert use to ride his tricycle to the Movie theater in our old home town of Richfield Springs NY he was maybe 3 or 4 and he was so small he could walk past the pay window unseen by the ticket master and just go in an take a seat and watch the Saturday matinee, mom would send me out to look for him, but he was easy to find , he would park his tricycle right in front of the movies and he would always sit right next to someone with the biggest bag of popcorn and help himself , he was kind and would always talk to anyone and never met a stranger, they were all friends. He will be surly missed R.I.P. Bro

Uncle Robert was one of a kind, he was quite the character. He made me laugh and I'm so grateful for my memories with him as a child, as well as an adult. May he rest in peace, gone but never forgotten. Your loving niece always, Carol Ann.

My Grandfather, Robert Lewis was one of a kind. He always knew how to get through bumps in life, small or big. Me and him and my family have so many memories together. He could always make you laugh no matter what the situation was. You will always have the most soft and kind spot in my heart. It does not seem the same without you here. Things will be so much different on Holidays without you saying something crazy and making me almost laugh to the ground. I will see you again when god calls me home and I miss you so much, Papa. I love you. Forever and always, Ashleigh.

He was a hard working man all his life and was very much a people person and he loved his grandchildren. I have a lot of good memories with him it’s like we kind of grew up together 32 years and he gave me the most precious gift of all our son (Schon) and yes he was a clown at times. He was loyal to his brothers always. He’s with his mom and dad & other brothers sharing all his stories. RIP Robert a piece of you will always be in my heart.
