SFC (Retired) Joe O. Campos, Jr.
Hephzibah, GA- SFC (Retired) Joe O. Campos, Jr., 73, entered into rest Thursday, July 23, 2020, loving husband of Eugeina Campos. Mrs. Campos was a devoted wife and took great care of her husband during his illness.
Mr. Campos loved his country and proudly served for 20 years in the United States Army. He served in the Vietnam War, was a Drill Sergeant, received various awards, and retired honorably as a Sergeant First Class at Fort Gordon. Mr. Campos was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was proud of his children, grandchildren and great-grandson.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Campos is survived by his two children, Josephine Enfinger (James) and Joe Campos (Rebecca); three grandchildren, Danielle Clark (Taylor), Jessica Flynn (Thomas), and Matthew Enfinger; great-grandson Noah Williams; his mother Francisca Campos; eight siblings, Louie Campos, Gilbert Campos, Sam Campos, Able Campos, Isabel Guerra, Jesse Campos, Irma Campos, and Frances Campos; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Mr. Campos was preceded in death by his father, Jose P. Campos and brother David Campos.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Eisenhower Hospital.

Oh Mr.Joe . I am so sorry for Jesus calling your dad home. I know how hard this is. Your happy that he is with Jesus but sad he has left you and your family.
