Antanas “Tony” Stasys Liutkus    

Entered into rest on April 13, 2021 after a 10 year struggle with Parkinsonism (PSP).

Tony was born July 12, 1943 in Kaunas, Lithuania and immigrated as a young boy with his family to the US. He settled and was raised in Waterbury, CT. He graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1965. He worked as a Professional Engineer all over the Eastern US and settled in Augusta, GA in 1992 and worked at SRS for the remainder of his career. Tony was an active member of the Catholic Community at St. Teresa’s of Avila parish.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda, and is survived by his mother, Ona Liutkus, his brother, Dr. John Liutkus, and his sons, Anthony and John Wilson Liutkus, and his devoted daughter-in-law, Kassandra Liutkus.

A memorial service will be held at The Savannah Rapids Park picnic area “Creekview” on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 12:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers and alike the local family ask that all who can or are inclined donate to the CSRA Parkinson Support Group or the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

Once my yard man put potting soil around my front trees while Tony was on the porch. He went inside .while inside.  my yard man put beautiful red and white flowers around the trees. Tony came back to the porch looked at me and said." What kind of miracle grow do you use. " Cracked me up
